Earlier 2012, socialist Francois Hollande ran his election bid mostly on the pledge to raise tax on the rich and to abandon austerity plan in France. He won the election as there were enough people believed that he could raise tax on the rich to spend on social programs for the “poor”.

Trước hết, ngày 27/11, Bắc Kinh tuyên bố sẽ bắt đầu lên các thuyền tàu trên biển trong vùng Biển Đông—mà TQ cho là thuộc chủ quyền của chúng—để khám sét.

Ngày 30/11, tàu đánh cá TQ lại giở trò cắt giây cáp tàu Bình Minh 2. Vài ngày sau, Việt Nam chính thức lên tiếng phản đối với tòa đại sứ TQ tại Hà Nội.

Vietnam lodged protest

Two China fishing boats blocked Vietnam’s exploration vessel—Binh Minh 2—while in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone. Vietnam accused a China fishing boat of cutting its vessel’s seismic cable. This childish act is not new. Beijing used that trick before in May 2011 when cable from the same vessel Binh Minh 2 was cut by China boats. Continue reading
