One cannot lead from behind!

Condoleezza Rice

She asked “Where does America stand?”—no one knows, not even President Obama himself.

When our friends and our foes, alike, do not know the answer to that question – clearly and unambiguously — the world is a chaotic and dangerous place.”—Philippines need to know if America will firmly stand with her when she fights China’s aggression in the East Sea. Millions of Syrians are still hoping for an end to the genocides by Assad but Russia and China are just too powerful for Obama.

We have not believed that I am doing poorly because you are doing well.”—don’t we all wish we can legally earn enough money to be in the 1% group? Nothing is wrong with being rich. And definitely, there is nothing wrong with being an honest poor person.

We need to have high standards for our students – self-esteem comes from achievement not from lax standards and false praise. And we need to give parents greater choice – particularly poor parents whose kids – most often minorities — are trapped in failing neighborhood schools. This is the civil rights struggle of our day.

We cannot be reluctant to lead – and one cannot lead from behind.”—the alternative (China leading the world) is very scary.

Paul Ryan

I have never seen opponents so silent about their record, and so desperate to keep their power.

What are there in their record to speak of?

—8.3% and 12.8 million without a job?

—over $5 trillion in new debts and 48 million of Americans still have to depend on SNAP?

—refusal to work with a Congress elected by the people in 2010 when they have differences? (He has now promised to work with Congress in his next term)

—bypassing Congress to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants to get their votes?

—$500 billion of tax money invested in now-defunct Solyndra?

College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life.

1 in 2 new college graduates of 2012 is either unemployed or underemployed, a record President Obama surely will avoid talking about

We will not duck the tough issues, we will lead.”—a promise by Romney-Ryan to work with Congress elected by the people this year regardless if they are controlled by Democrats or Republicans

We will not spend four years blaming others, we will take responsibility.”—a promise to Obama-Biden that they will not be blamed by Romney-Ryan the next 8 years

We will not try to replace our founding principles, we will reapply our founding principles.
