uncle Mao, uncle Ho, uncle O(bama) and their propaganda

At a recent fund raising event, Michelle Obama told the kids:

I mean, I can’t tell you in the last election how many grandparents I ran into who said, I wasn’t going to vote for Barack Obama until my grandson talked to me, until my great-grandson talked to me, and talked about the future he wanted for this country.

You can get out there with your parents. You guys can knock on doors. I had one young lady who brought me a petition — she’s already working. You can convince wrong people. Sometimes we don’t listen to ourselves, but we will listen to our children.

When I read this, the first thought that went through my mind was the similarity between this team Obama’s propaganda and how uncle Ho (as in Ho Chi Minh of Communist Vietnam) and uncle Mao (as in Mao Zedong of Communist China) brainwashed children in Vietnam and China to obey the revolution, the party and of course chairmen Mao and Ho.

Children were brainwashed to correct their parents whenever they have anti-revolutionary, anti-party thoughts/actions or doubts if Mao and Ho were absolutely right. Children were even taught to report to officials when they spotted such behaviors from their parents.

The idea that young children know better than their parents on who should lead this country is just idiotic—well, in the Obama household this may be true.

The next thing you know, Obama and his radical lefties would want to expand the voting age to 10.

Luckily, the event was at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park and not in my neighborhood. If she ever steps into my children’s school for one of her propaganda stops, I will take my children out of school that day—although my children have had perfect attendance during the last few school years.
